Royal Navy diver, 37, is demoted for telling female colleague he had 'hangover horn' and undoing his trousers to show off his manhood as he boasted: 'It's got length to it'
- Jon Finlay, 37, had been on a drunken evening with ex-girlfriend in Cyprus
- The next morning he asked the woman if she 'missed having sex'
- He then unzipped his jeans and 'traced the outline of his penis' in front of her
An experienced Royal Navy diver has been reduced in rank after telling a female colleague he had the 'hangover horn' and asking if she wanted him to show her his manhood.
Leading Diver Jon Finlay, 37, had been on a drunken evening out with the younger woman in Cyprus the night before during which she lost her phone.
A court martial heard that LD Finlay, who had previously been in a relationship with the woman, offered to help her find it by calling the bar they had been drinking in.
He told her to come down to the dive store on minehunter HMS Penzance, where he was sleeping at the time, and once there he asked her if 'she missed having sex'.

Bulford Military Court, Wilts heard he then proceeded to pull down his jeans and 'traced the outline of his penis' telling her 'I won't get it out fully... It's got length to it'.
Prosecuting, Major Laura Fearnfield, told the hearing: '[The victim] lost her phone on a night out and the next day Leading Diver Finlay offered to help her track it down.
'He asked her to come to the dive store because that was where he was sleeping at the time as it was the only room with air conditioning... Initially he called the bar for her to try and find the phone.
'He then said ''do you miss having sex with your boyfriend - it's been so long''.
'He told her he had the ''hangover horn'' and asked her if she wanted him to get his d*** out.
'He undid his belt and zip and opened his trousers moving them down by about 10cm to show his boxers.'

The shocked woman, who held the junior rank of Able Rate and had ended her relationship with LD Finlay a few months before, told him 'definitely do not do that' and asked what he thought he was doing.
Father-of-two LD Finlay replied by 'tracing the outline of his penis' against his boxer shorts and telling her 'It's got length to it'.
As she got up to leave, LD Finlay, who has over 20 years service, immediately apologised.
Later that day he again approached the woman to say he was sorry and begged her not to tell anyone what had happened.
Mitigating, LD Finlay's barrister Kaj Scarsbrook, said the experienced diver, from South Shields, Tyne and Wear, thought what he had done was 'morally abhorrent'.
Speaking in court, LD Finlay said: 'I am incredibly disappointed and remorseful about the situation I am in now.'
Sentencing him Judge Advocate General Alan Large said: 'You are 37 years of age so you are not a straight out the box [Leading Diver]*
'You have seen the navy change over those years and you will know how those changes have impacted the way we deal with each other and the respect we must have for each other.'
LD Finlay, who admitted one count of disgraceful conduct of an indecent kind, was reduced in rank to able rate, but was spared any further punishment.
