Oop! An enraged husband found out his wife had been cheating on him thanks to the baby monitor that was linked to his phone. According to reports, Marek Fecko was at his job when he heard his wife getting it on with his former colleague at their family home, prompting him to head straight home and confront the pair.
Apparently, he suspected that his wife had been cheating for about five months. But on this particular occasion, his assumptions became reality when she forgot that the microphone was still activated on the baby monitor, which she usually turned off when he was at work. Once Marek reached his home, he confronted his wife and her apparent lover before pulling out a knife and threatening to hurt the man.

The couple appeared at Carlisle Crown Court where Marek admitted to possessing a knife in a public place but contended that his actions simply stemmed from anger over his wife’s infidelity. Prosecutor Tim Evans said, “The unhappy result of that was that his wife commenced an affair. That affair was with a former work colleague of Mr. Fecko.”
“At the time of the offenses, October 31, the affair had been going on for five and a half months,” he added. Marek is said to have come across messages on his wife’s phone earlier this year that appeared to suggest she was seeing someone else while he was busy working, but he decided to overlook the texts and continue his relationship with his longtime partner.
It was also mentioned that the pair had a baby monitor placed in their marital bedroom, which is where the wife ended up getting caught, despite having turned the baby monitor around but forgetting that the device was still picking up sound.

“It was connected by way of sound and vision to Mr. Fecko’s phone. Within a short time of him leaving the house, his wife and (victim) were in the marital bedroom,” Tim added.
In the end, Judge Nicholas Barker ordered Marek to an 18-month community service program with 120 hours of unpaid work, as well as a restraining order, barring him from any contact with his former colleague.
Neither Marek nor the victim has been in contact since the altercation.
