CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University men's golf team will complete the fall portion of the 2022-23 schedule when they play in the Furman Intercollegiate on Oct. 22-23 at the Furman University Golf Club in Greenville, S.C.

Furman University will host the two-day event, which will consist of 54 holes. The field will play 36 holes on Saturday and the final 18 holes on Sunday on the par-72, 7,005-yard layout.

The Chanticleers will join 14 other teams at the invite, which includes host Furman, USC Aiken, Campbell, Chattanooga, Davidson, Francis Marion, Gardner-Webb, High Point, James Madison, Richmond, Samford, Virginia Teach, Western Carolina, and William & Mary.

Head coach Jacob Wilner has settled on six players to make the trip to the upstate for the final fall outing. Trey Crenshaw, Seth Taylor, Garrett Cooper, Owen Kim, and Connor Bennink will represent the Chants in team action. Tyler Gray will also make the trip and will be competing as an individual.

"The Furman University golf course is one our guys are familiar with," Wilner said. "The course should be firm and fast, and I feel the layout suits our games well. We will also have lots of family support out there lining the fairways with Coastal Teal!"
