Davenport, Florida (AP) — Officials on Sunday a violent attack in which an angry electrician wielding a knife and baseball bat killed three colleagues and injured another in their shared Florida home. Said that a third victim had died after.
Sheriff Pork County officials said electrician Sean Lunyoung began discussions with his boss on Friday, beating a man and escaping the scene. He returned to Davenport’s house, where he temporarily lived with a colleague on Saturday, beating one man while he was asleep, killing another on the front porch, chasing another victim on the street, and in a bat. I hit him badly. Sheriff Grady Judd said.
The fourth victim was seriously injured and later died in the hospital. Another man, his wife and their 7-year-old daughter, fled unharmed. Authorities did not disclose the identities of the victims.
Runyon, his seven colleagues and his family lived in a house rented by the Pennsylvania company J & B Electric, Inc.
It’s unclear why he caused the fight between 39-year-old Runyon and his boss on Friday, but Sheriff Judd said he confessed.
He was charged with three single murders and one deteriorating battery. It was not immediately clear whether he hired a lawyer to comment on the indictment.
According to sheriffs, Runyon fled the house and appeared hours later at a random Lake Wales couple’s house, telling him that he was raped in bloody clothes.
Judd said the man had thrown his bloody clothes home as he urged him to go to the hospital where he was later detained.
