Clippers' key to Game 6
Law Murray, Clippers beat writer: The Clippers are like roaches. There are many of them, and they don't die. Utah had a 10-point first half lead at home in Game 5. Clippers didn't panic. Jazz had a 25-point second half lead tonight in Game 6. Clippers didn't panic. The team takes its character from Tyronn Lue, who is not interested in panicking. Lue empowered his entire roster this season. After Game 5, he told Terance Mann to shoot the ball. Mann comes through with the game of his life, and he wasn't alone. The Clippers just kept playing and kept sticking to what works, even without Leonard.
How the Clippers match up with the Suns
Murray: The Clippers were 2-0 against the regular season Suns with Leonard, but lost their only meeting that Leonard missed in April. But the Suns are a lot like the Jazz, except they will shoot midrange jumpers. George will be the key on both ends of the floor, since Devin Booker and Mikal Bridges will be giving up size in the matchup. Ivica Zubac may be needed more, but the Suns will have to figure things out when the Clippers go small, particularly when Deandre Ayton is involved.
Biggest offseason question for the Jazz
Tony Jones, Jazz beat writer: The biggest offseason question for Utah is how do the Jazz go from being good to being great? They made a leap from being a good regular season team to a great regular season team. But they clearly aren't a great playoff team. So, how does that happen? How does the franchise build around Mitchell, now that the Jazz are clearly his team? And how does the front office build a roster that has the depth and versatility that the Clippers dominated the series with? This is going to be an interesting offseason in Utah.
