As intense as this presidential election has become, we cannot lose sight that those who are voting for the “other” candidate will still be our neighbors after the election. They will still be sitting in pews opposite of us in our churches, temples and mosques. They will still be standing in line with us at grocery stores and sitting near us at restaurants and sporting events. They will still be in desks across from us at colleges and work sites. And they will still be breaking bread with us at family holiday dinners. Simply put, they will still be fellow Americans.
Tom Wetzel,
Willoughby
