Circuit Judge Craig Carter processed a total of eight cases during the Oct. 21 session of Ozark County Law Day. Details on the cases are listed here.

Angela D. Brake, who pleaded guilty to assault in March 2019, did not appear for a scheduled case review. A show-cause hearing was scheduled for Nov. 4.

She was originally sentenced to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The execution of the sentence was suspended. Before being sentenced, she also had two bond violations. Court Probationary Serv-ices (CPS) non-compliance reports  filed against her in October 2017 and January 2018. She failed to appear at a hearing in February 2018. She violated her probation once since, being sentenced on Aug. 3. Brake was released from custody for treatment in October 2017 and was released in December 2017.

Toby C. Hudson, charged with burglary, two counts of stealing firearms, stealing $750 or more and possession of a controlled substance, is scheduled for a plea hearing or trial setting. It was continued to Nov. 4.

He has had two CPS non-compliance reports filed in the case on June 26 and July 17.

Arthur A. Acklin, who pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance in January 2018, appeared for a probation-status hearing. He was discharged, and the case was marked complete.

Acklin was originally sentenced to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections under Missouri’s long-term drug-treatment statute. He entered the program in January 2018 and was released in January 2019.

Brent Harrison, who pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a weapon - exhibiting and endangering the welfare of a child creating a substantial risk in August 2018, appeared for a case review. His court costs were waived, and he was discharged from probation. The case was marked complete.

He was originally sentenced to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. He’s had five violations so far in the case, one CPS violation in July 2018 and four probation violations in March 2019, April 2019, July 2019 and August 2019.

Georgette Reynolds, who pleaded guilty to stealing $750 or more, was scheduled for a probation-status hearing. She was originally given a three-year suspended imposition of sentence (SIS) in December 2018 and has had no violations in the case, which is no longer visible in online records. That online status could mean the case was marked complete. Since it was an SIS, once the case is marked compete, it is no longer on her record.

David Dwayne Wallace, who pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated (persistent offender) in August 2019, was scheduled to appear for a case review. His court costs were sent to collections, and he was discharged from probation. The case was marked complete.

He was originally sentenced to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The execution of the sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for four years.

Michael McCullough, charged with three counts of child molestation, appeared for a pretrial conference with his attorney, Lauren Kate Welborn. A hearing in which legal arguments are to be heard is scheduled for Nov. 4.
