Election 2020: Complete guide to Georgia’s 9th Congressional District race - Atlanta Journal Constitution

nnnindonesia.blogspot.com

U.S. Rep. Doug Collins’ decision to run for the Senate means that his seat is open, but the demographics of the district make it unlikely that a Democrat will win.

As a result, most of the focus ahead of Tuesday’s primary has been on the nine Republicans in the race. The Northeast Georgia district encompasses all or part of 20 counties.

High profile GOP candidates include state Reps. Matt Gurtler and Kevin Tanner, state Sen. John Wilkinson, former Congressman Paul Broun and attorney Ethan Underwood.

Three Democrats are running in that party’s primary.

Below, we have provided you with a rundown of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s coverage of these candidates, including links to our own articles, videos of them in debate and their campaign websites.

Voters looking for information on how to submit their ballots should check out the AJC’s “how to vote” guide. Those who want to download sample ballots and confirm which races they will be casting votes for should visit Georgia’s My Voter Page.
