Windermere, Fl. – The Maroon & Gold men's golf team completed the first round of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational. Minnesota will open the second round of the tournament in a tie for tenth place after culminating a team score of six-over par (294) in round one.  Ben Warian will also open the next round in a tie for tenth based on his individual performance of two-under par (70).
 
Auburn leads the field with a team score of fifteen-under par (273) in the first round.

Notable:
Warian collected a team-high six birdies, tallying three in the front-9 and another three in the back-9. His score of two-under par (70) pushed him into a tie for tenth in the event.
 
Jacob Pedersen went at par on every hole except two, claiming a birdie on the first hole. He is tied for seventeenth with his score of at-par (72).
 
Freshman Mason Roloff made his Gopher debut today, grabbing two birdies in the front-9 before going at par on the last eight holes. He will open the second round in a tie for twenty-eighth with a score of two-over par (74).
 
Antoine Sale recorded one birdie on his path to a score of six-over par (78), placing him into a tie for fifty-eighth place in the tournament heading into the second round.
 
Lincoln Johnson is also tied for fifty-eighth given his score of six-over par (78). He registered three birdies in the back-9 and went at par from holes 5 through 11.
