The Knicks are in search of their first Summer League crown, while the Blazers won in 2018 and will look to tie the Sacramento Kings for the most championships (2).

The first Las Vegas Summer League was played in 2004, featuring six teams. In 2004, the Celtics, Cavaliers, Nuggets, Magic, Suns and Wizards played a 13-game schedule, but no champion was crowned.

In each year since, the event has grown and since 2018, all 30 teams have participated, with the Warriors winning the first Summer League championship in 2013.
