The Pittsburgh Steelers started the 2020 NFL season going 11-0 before fading fast down the stretch. Still, they won the AFC North thanks to that early-season success and find themselves in the NFL Playoffs this weekend, but that doesn't mean it’s too early for us to take a look at next season.
Pittsburgh has relied heavily on QB Ben Rothlisberger for years, but he’s starting to show his age a bit. The Steelers should look to add a young QB in this talented draft class.
But they also need people to protect the signal-caller. All five of Pittsburgh’s starting offensive lineman are set to hit free agency either this offseason or next. They’re getting up there in age as well, so don’t be shocked if there are some new faces in the trenches coming soon.
2021 opponents
The Steelers will face their AFC North divisional opponents six times, half at home and half on the road. In addition, they draw matchups against all for teams from the AFC West and NFC North. The NFL is expected to add a 17th game to the regular season schedule that will feature an inter-conference matchup with a similarly placed team. The Steelers would face the NFC West.
