KYIV, Nov 27 (Reuters) - Ukraine has harvested 61.9 million tonnes of grain from 14.9 million hectares, equating to 97% of the sown area, as of Nov. 26, economy ministry data showed on Friday.
Farmers had completed the wheat and barley harvest and collected 26.3 million tonnes of corn from 5.02 million hectares, or 92% of the sown area, the data showed.
Ukraine's 2020 grain crop could decrease to 65 million tonnes from a record 75 million tonnes in 2019, deputy economy minister Taras Vysotskiy said this week.
The ministry previously expected a decline to about 68 million tonnes because of severe drought across most parts of the country. (Reporting by Natalia Zinets Editing by David Goodman )
