Emmeline Kinsman was found dead in bed by a work colleague - The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald

AN inquest will resume later this month into the death of a woman in Market Lavington.

Emmeline Hilbery Kinsman, 58, from Market Lavington near Devizes, was found dead in bed by a work colleague on April 8.

The opening inquest on July 10 was told that she failed to turn up for work, which was unusual. She ran a property business.

A work colleague went round to her home later in the evening and saw her lying in bed.

The colleague managed to gain access through a window and found Miss Kinsman unresponsive in bed.

The emergency services were called and the colleague administered CPR but she failed to regain consciousness. She was certified dead by paramedics at 8.12pm that evening.

The opening inquest was told that toxicity tests had found three different drugs in her system: morphine; Olanzapine, a drug primarily used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and Mirtazapine, a drug used to treat depression.

Ian Singleton, the Wiltshire and Swindon area coroner, will resume the inquest at 2pm on October 29.
