The latest “MLS Classics: Remix” game goes all the way back to 1996, when the New York/New Jersey MetroStars and Tampa Bay Mutiny reached a shootout.

Andrew Wiebe will host the above stream with real-time commentary from an all-star guest lineup, including Houston Dynamo head coach Tab Ramos and Portland Timbers head coach Giovanni Savarese. There’s also Miles Joseph, an assistant coach on Savarese’s staff in Portland.

All three were MetroStars (now the New York Red Bulls) originals in ‘96, and will share their recollections of how the wild way the club finally got its first victory. Hint: It involves some glorious old-school shootout action.

As you get settled for this MetroStars-Mutiny throwback, you can view the full archive of MLS Classic games here.
