Polda Metro Jaya memeriksa anggota Komisi Pemilihan Umum, Hasyim Asyari. Sebelumnya, Hasyim dilaporkan karena dianggap menyebarkan berita bohong, yaitu mengatakan KPU akan mengajukan peninjauan kembali terhadap putusan yang sudah didapat Partai Keadilan dan Persatuan Indonesia (PKPI). Putusan itu terkait dengan lolosnya PKPI sebagai peserta pemilu.
